About the Role
The Data Engineer will work within TrueTandem’s solutions delivery team to design and maintain secure data integrations and pipelines. The position supports health-screening data collection, workflow automation, notifications, results delivery, reporting and analytics.
The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams while following federal security, privacy and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy and maintain secure ETL and ELT processes.
- Develop batch, scheduled, event-driven and near-real-time data pipelines.
- Support portal intake, validation, workflows, reporting and analytics.
- Integrate Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate and Azure services.
- Integrate APIs, SQL Server systems and approved file-transfer platforms.
- Develop secure SQL Server integrations using approved interfaces.
- Support data exchange and complex government system integrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, data warehousing, analytics engineering or database development.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Strong SQL Server development experience.
- Experience with queries, views and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of data modelling and performance optimisation.
- Experience working with controlled database interfaces.
