About the Role
The Software Engineer will join the Control Plane team and build the user-facing application used to train detection models, process satellite and aerial imagery, visualize results and manage complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and improve the frontend application.
- Develop interactive map-based visualizations.
- Create workflows for imagery upload, model configuration and results export.
- Build performant interfaces for large-scale imagery.
- Integrate frontend applications with FastAPI services.
- Display processing status and asynchronous results in real time.
- Contribute to API documentation portals and interactive tools.
- Ensure reliable application performance across different deployment environments.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Strong practical experience with Vue.js.
- Experience building complex single-page applications.
- Strong HTML, CSS and TypeScript skills.
- Knowledge of component and integration testing.
- Experience with CI/CD, performance profiling and accessibility.
- Experience with geospatial data and browser-based mapping.
- Familiarity with OpenLayers, Leaflet or deck.gl.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and managing asynchronous state.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Knowledge of geospatial concepts, GeoJSON and map vector tiles.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Strong UX and user interaction design skills.
